VEIL GROUP PTY LTD
Terms of service
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. About WORO
WORO is a service operated by Veil Group Pty Ltd (ACN 689 879 276, ABN 72 689 879 276), Queensland, Australia. WORO provides middleware for one-time data exchange: a sender writes a value through the API, and a recipient uses a redeem token to retrieve it.
These terms apply when you access WORO, create an account, or purchase credits. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your account credentials and write tokens secure. You are responsible for activity carried out using your account and write tokens. Contact support@veilgroup.au if you believe either has been exposed.
You must not use WORO to transmit data or carry out activity that is illegal. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit the data and share its redeem token with the recipient.
You retain any rights you hold in the data you submit. You authorise Veil Group and its service providers to process that data only to provide, secure, and support WORO.
Veil Group or its licensors own WORO, its software, and its branding. These terms let you use the service; they do not transfer ownership of it.
We may suspend or close access where reasonably necessary to respond to illegal use, protect the service, or comply with law. Contact support to request account closure.
3. How the service works
A successful write consumes one credit. Reads do not consume credits. WORO deletes a stored value on read; unredeemed values expire after 14 days. WORO permits only one request to claim an exchange, though a network or service failure can prevent the recipient from receiving a response after the stored value is deleted. The redeem token is not tied to a recipient's identity; anyone who has it can attempt retrieval.
You may revoke an exchange from your account while it is pending. Revocation deletes the stored value and does not refund the credit used to write it. If retrieval has already claimed the exchange, revocation is no longer available.
WORO is not end-to-end encrypted. Veil Group can read content that is sent unencrypted while processing a request. Encrypt the data before sending it if it must remain unreadable to WORO.
WORO is provided without a guaranteed uptime or delivery commitment. We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We will handle any service issue in line with your rights under applicable law.
4. Credits and payment
Verified new accounts receive 30 starter credits. The minimum prepaid purchase is 100 write credits for $1.00 AUD, including GST. The average price per credit falls linearly from $0.0100 to $0.0069 as the order value rises to Stripe's general $999,999.99 AUD charge limit. The account page shows the calculation and total, including GST, before checkout. Payments are one-off; WORO does not automatically renew or charge a subscription.
Payments are processed through Stripe. Credits are added after Stripe confirms the payment. Your card issuer may apply currency conversion or foreign-transaction fees.
Each credit expires three years after it is issued. Purchased credits are issued when payment is confirmed; starter credits are issued when granted. WORO uses credits in the order they were issued, oldest first.
If you close your account, contact us within three years of purchase with proof of purchase and the details of another WORO account. We can transfer your unused, unexpired purchased credits to that account after verifying the request. Requests made after the three-year period or without proof may be considered at our discretion. Account closure does not automatically result in a cash refund.
To request account closure, contact support@veilgroup.au.
5. Refunds and consumer rights
Refund requests are considered at Veil Group's discretion. This does not limit any right to a refund or other remedy that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. See our refund policy or the ACCC's consumer rights information, or contact support if you have a concern.
6. Consumer rights and governing law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
7. WORO CLI software
We grant you permission to download, install, and run unmodified official WORO command-line client binaries that we distribute, for personal use or use within your organisation to access WORO. You may make the copies reasonably necessary to install and run the binaries.
This permission applies only to the compiled binaries we distribute. It does not give you access to the CLI source code, the private source repository, GSL, or GSLGeneric, and it does not permit modifying, selling, sublicensing, or redistributing the CLI binaries. Third-party components included with the CLI remain subject to their own licenses.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as WORO changes. The date at the top shows when this page was last updated. If you have a question about these terms, contact support@veilgroup.au.
